COVID-19 Guidelines

Due to the current global pandemic (COVID-19), our boutique is only permitted to function at 50% capacity which significantly limits the number of brides we can see.  We have a $50 non-refundable consultation fee which will be fully credited towards your gown if purchased the same day of your initial appointment.

Here are the safety procedures that you can expect during your visit to House of JonLei Atelier:

  • We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment; if you happen to be late please call (240) 493.4502 to notify us.
  • Due to our scheduling constraints, if you are not on time for your appointment, we cannot guarantee your full allotted appointment time.
  • Please call our boutique when you arrive at our location (240) 493.4502, as our doors are locked at all times.
  • You and your guest are required to wear a mask during the entire appointment time while in the boutique.
  • If the bride or the guest are not wearing face masks upon arrival or remove face masks during the duration of the appointment, we will be unable to continue with your appointment and you will forfeit your appointment and consultation fee.
  • Upon entry, you and your guest must cleanse your hands with hand sanitizer.
  • You will be working with a personal bridal specialist. Please come to your appointment wearing proper undergarments or we will be unable to continue with your appointment and you will forfeit your time and consultation fee.
  • Although we have spacious dressing rooms, we feel that it's safest for you to change in and out of the gowns privately.  Once you have a gown on, we will clip and style you in the showroom area as usual.
  • We ask that you bring no more than 1 guest with you to your appointment. We are happy to set up a Zoom meeting with your loved ones who are unable to attend your appointment. Please let us know in advance if you would like to have guests join you virtually.
  • At this time, no children under the age of 13 will be permitted in the boutique for appointments.
  • We have a no picture policy during our appointments.
  • We have added additional time in between appointments to clean, disinfect, and sanitize our gowns and boutique.
  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well and or if you have been in contact with someone with the virus.
  • We have a strict policy and ask if you or your guest are or were sick within the week of your appointment, have traveled within the last 2 weeks that you do not schedule an appointment. We will gladly reschedule you for a later date so that we are all safe.
  • You are submitting an appointment request.  The appointment is not considered booked until you receive an e-mail confirmation from us.
